Responsibilities
- Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, molten metal, finished products, and process samples.
- Conduct laboratory testing using standard testing procedures and analytical instruments.
- Analyze the chemical composition of metals and alloys to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Prepare chemical reagents, testing solutions, and laboratory samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as Spectrometer, XRF Analyzer, Carbon & Sulphur Analyzer, pH Meter, and other testing instruments.
- Record, interpret, and report laboratory test results accurately.
- Monitor product quality and recommend corrective actions in case of deviations.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to maintain product quality standards.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Maintain laboratory documentation, quality records, and test certificates.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures, environmental regulations,



and company SOPs.
- Assist in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of
Chemical Analysis and Laboratory Testing
.
- Hands-on experience with
Spectrometer, XRF Analyzer, Carbon & Sulphur Analyzer
, and other analytical instruments.
- Understanding of
Metallurgy, Material Testing, and Quality Control
.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and chemical handling procedures.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good documentation and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in
MS Office
for report preparation and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry
(Mandatory)

Diploma or certification in Laboratory Technology will be an added advantage.
