Role Description

The Director – Aviation Operations is a full-time,
in office leadership role based in Abroad
, responsible for overseeing all aviation-related operational activities. This role involves setting operational strategy for aviation programs, supervising flight safety standards, and ensuring aircraft availability and readiness in alignment with business and regulatory requirements. The Director will coordinate aircraft maintenance schedules, manage relationships with aviation service providers, and implement risk management and safety protocols. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring operational performance, reviewing safety reports, leading incident reviews, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency and reliability. The role also requires mentoring aviation operations staff, developing standard operating procedures, and collaborating with senior leadership to support organizational goals related to aviation services.

Qualifications
- Strong background in aviation operations, with experience in flight safety and aircraft handling.




- Proficiency in program management for aviation initiatives, including planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices and coordination with maintenance teams or vendors.
- Proven leadership skills, including team management, stakeholder communication, and decision-making under time-sensitive conditions.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and compliance standards relevant to both domestic and international operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in aviation safety or operations are an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate across departments, and present clear operational reports to senior management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
