Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and creative R&D; Head to lead the Research & Development function for our heater manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for new product development, product innovation, design improvements, testing, cost optimization, and compliance with industry standards while leading a high-performing R&D; team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and innovation of electric heater products.
- Develop new products based on market trends, customer requirements, and business goals.
- Improve existing products to enhance performance, safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct product testing, validation, and performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with BIS, IS standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Marketing teams during product development.
- Oversee prototype development, product trials, and design modifications.
- Manage product documentation, technical specifications, BOMs, and engineering drawings.




- Drive value engineering and cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
- Identify recent technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes for product innovation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the R&D; team while managing project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in R&D;/Product Development, with leadership experience in the electrical appliance or heater manufacturing industry.
