Role Description
The Youth Lead is a part-time remote role responsible for designing, coordinating, and supporting youth-focused initiatives connected to Layerwise AI’s mission and community outreach. Day-to-day tasks include planning and facilitating youth programs, organizing virtual workshops or events, and providing guidance to youth participants in using technology responsibly and creatively. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners, maintaining clear communication with youth and caregivers, and tracking program outcomes.



The Youth Lead will also develop program materials, gather feedback, and help improve activities to ensure they are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Youth Leadership and Youth Work to guide, mentor, and support young participants effectively.
- Candidates should possess experience with Youth Programs and Social Work to design, deliver, and evaluate inclusive, community-focused activities.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with youth, families, and partners.
- Experience working with diverse youth communities, including an understanding of equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practices, is beneficial.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools and basic digital literacy is required; familiarity with AI or technology education programs is a plus.
