Role & responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end yard operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Oversee vehicle movement, including inward and outward operations.
- Plan and optimize vehicle parking and yard space utilization.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain complete yard records.
- Supervise security personnel and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
- Manage yard housekeeping, discipline, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with Operations, Fleet, Transport, Maintenance, Security, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams.
- Monitor yard productivity and ensure adherence to operational KPIs.
- Handle vendor coordination and manpower deployment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, MIS reports, and operational records.




- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yard productivity.

Preferred candidate profile
- 815 years of experience in Yard Operations, Logistics Operations, Fleet Operations, Warehouse Operations, Manufacturing, Automotive, Port Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Robust leadership and team management skills.
- Experience managing large operational teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management and operational controls.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage critical operations.
- Basics in MS Excel and operational reporting.
