Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive Design Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in machine and large assembly design. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360, and have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining and sheet metal fabrication. The role involves conceptual design, detailed modelling, preparation of engineering drawings with GD&T;, and FEA-based validation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop machines, mechanisms,



and large assemblies using SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Carry out conceptual design, detailed engineering, and prototype development activities.
- Prepare accurate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T.;
- Conduct FEA simulations to assess design performance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams for machining, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly optimisation.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles and participate in design reviews.
- Prepare and manage BOMs and maintain proper documentation and version control.
- Support prototype builds, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Required Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360 (part, assembly, and drawing).
- Experience in machine design and large assembly management.
- Strong knowledge of machining and sheet metal fabrication.
- Working knowledge of GD&T; (ASME Y14.5 or ISO standards).
