Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Professional Accountant role based in Chennai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role includes preparing financial statements, monthly and quarterly reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.



The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, and assist with audits and documentation. The position requires close collaboration with operations, procurement, and management teams to support cost tracking, inventory-related accounting, and financial decision-making.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Knowledge of applicable tax laws, statutory compliance, and familiarity with audit processes and internal controls.
