The Sales Manager for Northeast India will spearhead the company’s market expansion and revenue growth across West Bengal, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh. This role involves a strategic blend of field-level execution and high-level stakeholder management, working closely with dairy cooperatives, institutional partners, and retail distributors. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of silage products, Agri machinery managing regional sales teams, and ensuring that Cornext’s solutions reach the grassroots level to improve dairy farm efficiency. Your impact will be measured by market penetration, volume growth, and the successful establishment of a sustainable distribution network in these high-potential regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across West Bengal, Assam and Northern states.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team to ensure consistent performance and career development in the field.
- Develop and nurture relationships with institutional clients,
including government bodies, dairy cooperatives, and large-scale commercial farms.
- Expand the retail footprint by identifying and onboarding reliable distributors and dealers to ensure product availability.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats, adjusting sales planning accordingly.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and negotiation to order fulfillment and post-sales support.
- Collaborate with the central operations team to ensure seamless supply chain management and inventory availability for the Northeast region.
Required Skillset:
- Proven ability to drive B2B, B2C and institutional sales growth within the agricultural or rural sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of the rural market landscape.
