AVP - Data Science is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping the data science strategy, architecture, and governance across the organization. The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years and up to 20 years of experience in data science, analytics, and related fields, with a proven track record of leading large teams, delivering scalable models, and driving measurable business impact. The AVP will collaborate with the CTO, CDO,



and business leaders to translate complex problems into data-driven solutions, establish governance and best practices, and foster a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and responsible AI.

Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the data science strategy aligned with business objectives, including roadmap planning, metrics, and impact assessment.
- Build and lead multiple data science teams across projects, mentoring senior scientists and engineers, and scaling capabilities as the organization grows.
- Oversee end-to-end data science programs from problem framing, data acquisition, feature engineering, modeling, deployment, monitoring, and model governance.
- Partner with technology, product, and business units to champion data-driven decision making and ensure rapid, responsible delivery of analytical products.
