Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director / Senior Manager – LIB Business Development to lead business expansion for our Lithium-ion Battery recycling business. The incumbent will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, driving procurement and sourcing initiatives, acquiring recent customers, and leading commercial negotiations while ensuring sustainable business growth.
This role demands a highly entrepreneurial individual with excellent commercial acumen who enjoys building businesses from the ground up and is comfortable with extensive travel and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Drive business development initiatives for Lithium-ion Battery (LIB) recycling across OEMs, EV manufacturers, battery cell manufacturers, battery pack manufacturers, energy storage companies, and allied industries.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to procure end-of-life batteries, production scrap, black mass, and other recyclable battery materials.
Identify and acquire new business opportunities while expanding Attero's customer network across India.
Build, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and channel stakeholders.
Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, contract finalization, and long-term sourcing agreements.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development and procurement targets.
