Role & responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce aerospace components to tight tolerances.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Monitor machining operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain part quality.
- Perform first article and in-process inspections to ensure part conformity.
- Maintain equipment, tooling, and a clean, organized work workplace.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues.
- Follow safety and quality standards in compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace standards.
Preferred candidate profile
- High school diploma or technical/vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 2-7 years of CNC milling experience, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
