Position: Commi 2 (Indian Chef)

Job Summary

The Commi 2 (Indian Chef) assists in the preparation and cooking of Indian cuisine, ensuring excellent food quality, consistency, hygiene, and timely service. The role involves supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations while maintaining the hotel's culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Indian dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Assist in the preparation of curries, gravies, breads, rice, snacks, and other Indian specialties.
- Prepare mise en place before service.
- Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation as per hotel standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
- Store food items properly and minimize food wastage.




- Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety procedures.
- Assist in stock management and report shortages to the Chef.
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a Commi 2 in an Indian kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
