The Electronics Service Engineer is responsible for the bench-level repair and diagnostic testing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) used in weighing indicators, transmitters, and process controllers. You will be the internal expert for restoring faulty hardware to OEM standards.
"Key Responsibilities"
1. Component-Level Diagnostics
· Circuit Analysis: Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and LCR meters to trace faults in analog and digital circuits.
· Fault Finding: Identify failed components such as microcontrollers, ADCs (Analog-to-Digital Converters), operational amplifiers (Op-Amps), and power supply modules on PCBA.
· Signal Testing: Verify excitation voltage and signal integrity for load cell interfaces at the board level.
2. Precision Repair & Soldering
· SMD/THT Repair: Perform high-quality soldering and desoldering of Surface Mount Devices (SMD)
and Through-Hole Technology (THT) components.
· Trace Repair: Repair damaged PCB tracks and pads caused by burns, corrosion, or electrical surges.
· Firmware Flashing: Upload and configure firmware/software onto repaired boards using programmers (JTAG, ISP, etc.).
3. Testing & Quality Control
· Post-Repair Validation: Conduct rigorous "soak tests" and burn-in tests to ensure the stability of repaired units under load.
· Calibration Support: Coordinate with the instrumentation team to ensure repaired PCBA meet the high-accuracy requirements of industrial weighing ($mV/V$ precision).
· Inventory Management: Maintain a stock of critical electronic components (IC chips, resistors, capacitors, displays).
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
· Education: ITI /Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Electronics / EC or Industrial Electronics /
BSC or MSC in electronics & physics.
· Experience: "Fresher" or "2-3 years" in
