Role: Transition Manager – Finance as a Service (FaaS)
Location: Gurugram/Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Kolkata
Role Summary
The Transition Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end transition of finance processes from clients or incumbent vendors into RSM’s India FaaS delivery model. This role focuses on knowledge transfer, process stabilization, risk management, stakeholder communication, and readiness for steady-state delivery.

Qualification and Minimum Entry Requirement
s• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related disciplin
e• 8–12 years of experience in Finance & Accounting operation
s• 4–6 years of transition / migration experience (FAO / FaaS / BPO
)• Solid understanding of R2R, P2P, O2
C• US GAAP exposure preferre
d• Offshore delivery experienc
e• Willingness to work US hour

nt• Lead end-to-end transitions of finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) from client teams and/or incumbent vendors to RSM’s India delivery model,

s.• Develop and manage detailed transition plans including scope, timelines, resourcing, dependencies, milestones, and cutover approach; maintain RAID logs and drive closure of actions, risks, and issue
s.• Plan and execute Knowledge Transfer (KT) through a structured shadow–perform–review model; validate process understanding, address gaps, and confirm readiness through sign-offs and competency assessment
s.• Create/refresh transition documentation including SOPs, process maps, SLAs/KPIs, RACI matrices, and operating calendars; ensure document control, versioning, and alignment to client expectation
s.• Proactively identify transition risks (people/process/technology/data/compliance), define mitigation and contingency plans, and monitor early warning indicators during stabilizatio
