The Assistant Manager – Production at Hical Technologies will be responsible for efficiently managing production operations in sheet metal fabrication, welding, riveting, and mechanical assembly . The role focuses on production planning, quality assurance, manpower efficiency, and process improvements to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery. The candidate should have 9 to 12 years of experience in production management , a strong understanding of mechanical processes and GD&T; , and the ability to lead, train, and optimize shop-floor teams while implementing continuous improvement initiatives .
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize manpower, equipment, and tools for efficient production.
- Monitor daily production targets and ensure 100% on-time delivery.




- Optimize manpower efficiency to maintain productivity above 90%.
- Ensure material accountability and minimize wastage.
- Implement and maintain 5S and quality system requirements in all manufacturing stages.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to resolve quality issues on the production line.
- Support recent product development and ensure smooth transition to serial production.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Train and guide the shop-floor team in mechanical processes.
