- Prepare and agree the SHE audit plan
- Lead comprehensive SHE audits at various company sites globally.
- Evaluate compliance with internal and external SHE standards and regulations.
- Identify areas of non-compliance and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Summarise themes from the individual audits to look for systemic gaps and present to senior leaders.
- Collaborate with site management to develop and implement corrective action plans.
- Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest internal and external SHE standards and regulations and best practices.
- Design and deploy an productive and effective internal (Line of Defence 2) Audit programme which is continuously improved.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of SHE standards (e. g Process Safety, Environmental compliance and Occupational Health and safety Management) and regulations.
This includes global and local regulations relevant to the audited sites.
- Experience with SHE auditing processes and methodologies and overall UL Audit programme.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements and how they apply to specific site operations
- Specialist technical experience in Process Safety or Environmental or Industrial Hygiene is essential.

- Ability to comprehend and synthesise a site risk profile
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
