We are seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel and Co-Sec Assistant to join our legal team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Corporate Governance General Counsel, also with the Legal lead of the establishment team and other senior management to ensure that all company secretarial duties are completed in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will be part of the Legal Functional Lead and Chief Legal Officer teams that need to enable the success of a standalone Ice Cream company that is geared for future success as a market leader in its industry.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Assist the Corporate Governance General Counsel in managing all company secretarial duties;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files and liaise with local country legal and cosec teams;
- Assist with the organization and preparation of board and committee meetings, including setting agendas, preparing minutes, and handling follow-up actions;
- Ensure that all statutory filings are completed accurately and on time;




- Maintain the companys statutory registers;
- Provide support on company secretarial matters;
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of annual reports, including working with external auditors and internal teams;
- Keep up to date with changes to company law and best practice
