About the Role:
We are hiring a Visual Merchandiser with strong experience in tech retail who can blend creative visual design with data-driven insights. The role focuses on planogramming, space optimization, and motion study to improve customer experience and drive sales across technology products and accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and execute planograms and store layouts for tech retail stores
Apply motion study and customer flow analysis to improve navigation and product visibility
Prioritize product placement based on:
o High vs. low sales performance
o Focus / hero products
o New launches and promotions
Optimize merchandising for phones, laptops, tablets, earphones, and tech accessories
Balance visual aesthetics with commercial performance
Analyze sales and space productivity data to refine layouts
Ensure consistent visual merchandising standards and compliance across stores
Conduct store visits, audits,
and provide actionable VM feedback
Collaborate with category, sales, marketing, and operations teams
Tools & Software:
Planogram / space planning tools, such as: DotActiv/ Leafio/ IWD/ Mockshop/ Plan Hero/ StoreIQ or similar tools
Design Software: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or CAD software to plan displays.
Required Skills & Experience:
3–5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in electronics / tech retail
Strong expertise in planogramming using creative and scientific methods
Experience with motion study, customer behavior analysis, and salesbased prioritization
Ability to convert data insights into visual merchandising decisions
Strong execution focus and attention to detail
Valuable communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Willingness to travel for store visits and audits
KPIs & Success Metrics:
Sales uplift after layout or planogram changes
Improvement in sales per sq.
