About the role

The Operating Unit (OU)



Data Lead plays a pivotal role in activating Haleon’s Data and AI strategy locally and ensuring that Data & AI services drive measurable business value in Operating Units, as the business-facing data leader for India Subcontinent (ISC).

Operating as the primary interface between the Data Office and OU, the role translates business priorities into actionable data demand, ensures high-quality delivery of data and intelligence products, and drives alignment of enterprise-wide ways of working across intelligence, analytics, and data governance in OUs.

The role is part of the Data Office team and reports to the Head of OU Data.

The job holder will be based in India, to ensure proximity to key Operating Unit stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Business Engagement and Demand Leadership:
- Act as the single point of accountability for data & AI within the Operating Unit.
- Partner closely with OU business leaders to identify, shape and prioritise use cases, business questions and opportunities.
