We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role Assistant Vice President – Product Control

Purpose of the role

Product Control is part of Controllership. Product Control ensures traded products are fair valued, correctly accounted and disclosed with prudent valuations, reported to our regulators. Product control HUB sites support London, Current York, Honk Kong, Paris, Ring Fence Bank and Holding entities.





The Product Control team structure is aligned to the Markets trading groups. There are three Business aligned teams for London region (Global Debt Market, Equities and GFX/Market Treasury) and regional teams Hong Kong, Paris, New York, along with Internal Group Reconciliations, MENA and Holding entities. Each team performs Profit & Loss reconciliations, Journal Posting and B/S Substantiation for the respective regions in a multi-shift set-up. The role is an individual contributor at a managerial level focused on Profit & Loss reconciliation, Journal posting and B/S Substantiation across multiple asset classes. It involves close engagement with stakeholders in the sites and near-shore teams (Krakow and Manila), local team leadership as well as senior stakeholder management in Product Control, Accounting Control, IT, Operations & Change Management.
