School Coordinator Responsibilities & Duties
Plan and coordinate school events, including but not limited to open house, parent-teacher conferences, and graduation ceremonies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student, staff, and school records
Communicate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a collaborative and supportive school workplace
Manage and reconcile the school budget and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded
Supervise and provide guidance to administrative and support staff
Oversee school safety and emergency procedures and ensure that all staff and students are trained in these procedures
Collaborate with other school coordinators, administrators, and community organizations to promote the school and support student success
School Coordinator Qualifications & Skills
Master’s degree in Education Administration or related field
Experience working in educational administration




Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency in educational software and technologies
Experience in curriculum development
Knowledge of school regulatory requirements
Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Strong commitment to educational excellence and equity
Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field
3+ years of experience in a similar role
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with budget management and financial record-keeping
