* Contribute to functional testing of all calypso releases and also ensure that
the regression test cases are kept updated regularly.
* Perform functional test of Calypso for patches and current functions and document
test cases
* Provide regular status updates to stakeholders regarding team progress,
ensuring transparency and alignment with project timelines.
* Provide leadership and direction to the QA team, fostering a culture of
excellence and collaboration. Mentor and guide QA team members, promoting
their professional growth and skills enhancement.
* Effectively manage all team activities by assessing and allocating tasks
among team members, ensuring the timely completion of feature testing to
deliver high-quality software.
* Understand the business requirement by collaborating closely with business
stakeholders and suggest test plan and delivery time lines.
* Collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, Project
Managers and other business stakeholders to ensure that the test strategy and
coverage aligns with the functional specifications.
* Work closely with the development lead in release planning and preparation
including release documentation, change request creation and all other change
management processes.
* Provide assistance to investigate and resolve issues escalated by the
production support team related to Calypso configuration or functions.
* Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and take
ownership of initiatives aimed at driving improvements and automating
processes.
* Other tasks related to projects as directed by the manager
REQUIREMENTS
* Computer Science or equivalent degree
* 5 to 10 years of comprehensive experience in software testing, including a
minimum of 2 years in a test lead capacity.
* Strong hands-on experience with Fixed Income or Equity Derivative products,
complemented by a thorough understanding of the trade life cycle for these
instruments.
