Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement activities for construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and timely procurement of construction materials, MEP items, equipment, and subcontract services. Experience in the Construction/EPC industry is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
- Lead end-to-end procurement of construction materials, MEP items, equipment, machinery, and subcontract services.
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
- Float RFQs/RFPs, evaluate quotations, and prepare techno-commercial comparative statements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial conditions.
- Ensure procurement delivers maximum value while maintaining quality and project timelines.





Vendor Development & Contract Management
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain an approved vendor database.
- Identify and onboard new vendors based on quality, pricing, capability, and compliance.
- Finalize suppliers through technical and commercial evaluations.
- Prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders (POs), Work Orders (WOs), and procurement contracts.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance.

Project Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Planning, Engineering, QA/QC, Stores, and Site Teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Ensure timely material availability to avoid project delays.
- Resolve urgent procurement requirements, shortages, and material substitutions.
- Track procurement schedules and monitor vendor deliveries.

Commercial & Cost Control
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
