Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate ICU Staff Nurse with 3–4 years of experience in critical care. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring their condition, and working closely with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients.

* Monitor vital signs and identify changes in patient condition.

* Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and injections as prescribed.

* Operate and monitor ICU equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, syringe pumps, cardiac monitors, and defibrillators.

* Assist doctors during emergency procedures, intubation, central line insertion, and CPR.

* Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.





* Follow infection control protocols and patient safety standards.

* Educate patients’ families regarding treatment plans and patient care.

* Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals for effective patient management.

* Ensure proper handover during shift changes.

* Maintain cleanliness, stock availability, and functionality of ICU equipment.

Requirements

* GNM or B.Sc. Nursing.

* Valid Nursing Council registration.

* 3–4 years of ICU experience is mandatory.

* Robust knowledge of critical care nursing and emergency management.

* Experience in handling ventilated and critically ill patients.

* Excellent communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills.

* Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights.

Preferred Skills

* ACLS/BLS certification (preferred).

* Knowledge of NABH protocols and infection control practices.
