Job Title: OPD Junior NurseJob Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Junior OPD Nurse to join our Outpatient Department (OPD). The successful candidate will assist doctors during consultations, provide basic nursing care, support patient education, and ensure effective patient flow while maintaining high standards of safety and infection control.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during outpatient consultations and minor procedures.
- Record patients' vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
- Prepare patients for examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, dressings, and other prescribed treatments.
- Assist with sample collection and basic nursing procedures.
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, follow-up visits, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Ensure consultation rooms are clean, organized, and adequately stocked with medical supplies.
- Coordinate with laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, and other departments for patient care.




- Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the OPD and assist as required.

Qualifications
- ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) preferred.
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing candidates are also encouraged to apply.
- Valid Nursing Council registration, where applicable.
- 0–2 years of experience in an OPD, clinic, or hospital setting is preferred. Freshers may also apply.

Required Skills
- Basic patient assessment and nursing care.
- Ability to administer injections, perform wound dressings, and provide first aid.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule
- Full-time
- Day shifts, with rotational weekends or holidays as per organizational requirements
