Key Responsibilities:-
- Lead the complete platform design and development of 50-100 HP tractor models.
- Develop vehicle architecture, chassis layout, packaging, and system integration.
- Coordinate with Engine, Transmission, Hydraulic, Electrical, Styling, Manufacturing, SCM, Quality, and Vendor Development teams.
- Drive recent product development (NPD) projects from concept to production.
- Prepare engineering layouts, 3D models, 2D drawings, and GD&T; documentation.
- Review product specifications, benchmarking, and competitor analysis.
- Conduct DFMEA, DVP&R;, Design Reviews, and Design Validation activities.
- Support prototype build, testing, validation, and field trials.
- Resolve engineering issues during prototype and production stages.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and cost targets.
- Work closely with suppliers for component development and localization.
- Mentor and guide a team of design engineers and project engineers.
- Drive value engineering, cost reduction, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
