We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional with strong expertise in invoice validation, GST & TDS compliance, agreement verification, and team management. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, reviewing ability, and the confidence to handle the AP function independently while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations
- Invoice validation along with verification of supporting documents
- Agreement / Contract validation before processing vendor payments
- Ensure compliance with GST & TDS regulations
- Vendor reconciliation and timely resolution of queries
- Review accounting entries for accuracy and completeness
- Preparation and analysis of MIS reports
- Team handling and mentoring of 3-5 team members
- Strong coordination with internal stakeholders for approvals and documentation
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies
- Month-End Close Activities
- Process improvement and strengthening of financial controls
Required Skills & Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Experience in agreement validation and financial document review
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS reporting)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good decision-making ability
- Strong reviewing and quality-checking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Confident personality with strong email drafting skills
- Good IQ and analytical mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Commerce / Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred)
- ERP experience (Tally / SAP / Oracle / Zoho or similar systems)
