Role & responsibilities
- Lead implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Tax across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles
- Handle business tax processes, including GST, VAT, Sales Tax, and indirect tax compliance for multiple legal entities
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to tax and translate them into functional solutions
- Configure tax regimes, tax rules, tax statuses, tax rates, and tax jurisdictions within Oracle Fusion Tax
- Design and maintain tax determination logic based on geography, product, transaction type, and legal entity
- Collaborate with finance and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regional and global tax regulations
- Integrate Oracle Tax with other modules like Accounts Payables (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
- Support tax reporting requirements,



including statutory reports and audit-related data extraction
- Perform system testing (SIT/UAT), validate tax calculations, and ensure accuracy of tax configurations
- Troubleshoot tax-related issues and provide ongoing support post-implementation

Key Skills:
- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Tax configuration, including tax regimes, rules, recovery rates, and tax applicability
- Deep understanding of indirect tax concepts such as GST, VAT, Sales & Use Tax, and withholding tax
- Experience in end-to-end financial process flows (P2P, O2C) and how tax impacts each transaction
- Ability to design and implement complex tax determination logic based on multiple business scenarios
- Hands-on experience with tax integration across Oracle Financials modules (AP, AR, GL)
- Knowledge of global tax compliance and localization requirements, especially for multi-country implementations
- Robust analytical and troubleshooti
