The Senior Technical Executive/AM Broadband is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and maintenance of fiber broadband networks. The role ensures high network uptime, service quality, timely project delivery, and effective team and vendor management. The position plays a critical role in scaling FTTH/FTTx networks while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and implement FTTH/FTTx broadband networks (OFC, last-mile, customer drops).
- Lead fiber route surveys, feasibility studies, and BOQ preparation.
- Ensure quality execution of splicing, jointing, termination, and testing (OTDR, power meter).
- Oversee new area rollouts, capacity expansion, and network upgrades.
- Ensure high network uptime and quick resolution of fiber cuts and outages.
- Define and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
- Analyse recurring faults and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs for fault resolution and service restoration.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor technical managers, engineers, supervisors, and field technicians.




- Allocate work, set priorities, and track daily/weekly performance.
- Conduct technical training and skill-upgradation programs.
- Ensure quality, safety, and timelines as per agreed contracts.
- Act as technical escalation points for key customers and enterprise clients.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Support, & NOC.
- Support technical feasibility for large or complex connections.
- Ensure compliance with local authority permissions (ROW), safety norms, and industry standards.
- Maintain documentation for network maps, routes, and assets.
- Enforce workplace safety and fiber handling best practices.
- Provide management with actionable insights and improvement plans.
