What does the role involve?
In this role, you will contribute as a hands-on software engineer in the IoT Cloud area. You will design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-native backend services and integrations. The work involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement robust technical solutions, ensure code quality, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve the reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability of IoT Cloud services.

Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native backend services for the Hilti IoT Cloud platform.
- Implement scalable and secure solutions using AWS services, serverless patterns, event-driven architecture, APIs, and data stores.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and integration teams to deliver agreed features and technical improvements.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, monitoring, and operational improvements for cloud services.
