Key Responsibilities:
- Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Basic Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID;)
- Process calculations and equipment sizing calculations
- Mass and water balance; Heat and energy balance
- Preparation of equipment list, specifications, and datasheets
- Estimation of utility requirements
- Preparation of design basis reports
- Equipment, facilities, building layouts, and general arrangement drawings
- Basic engineering and detailed engineering related to process and technologies
- Process control requirements
- Preparation of technical specifications for bid packages
- Review of vendor offers and preparation of technical evaluation reports
- Interface with Client, core technology supplier, process licensor, and OEMs to define battery limits across disciplines (utilities, MEP, civil, structural, architectural, etc.)
- Evaluation and comparison of available technologies in the market
- Selection of optimum technology considering CAPEX, OPEX, and value engineering
