Role Title: PPC Planner

Function: Production Planning & Inventory Control

Location: Manufacturing Plant (Nashik)

Role Purpose

To execute production planning and MRP processes to ensure timely availability of materials and smooth production flow in alignment with customer schedules. The role focuses on maintaining planning accuracy, minimizing shortages, and supporting efficient utilization of resources in line with automotive MNC practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute MRP runs and ensure availability of materials as per production plan
- Prepare detailed production plans based on MPS and customer schedules
- Monitor daily production plan vs actual and highlight deviations
- Coordinate with procurement and inbound logistics to ensure timely material availability
- Track and escalate material shortages and potential risks proactively
- Maintain accurate planning master data in SAP (BOM, lead times, safety stock, etc.)
- Support capacity planning and identify potential bottlenecks
- Ensure alignment of production plans with line capacity and constraints




- Monitor and control WIP levels to ensure smooth production flow
- Support inventory control through planning inputs and consumption trends
- Coordinate with shopfloor teams for plan execution and adjustments
- Participate in schedule change management and quick response planning
- Generate planning reports and KPIs (schedule adherence, shortages, inventory impact)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and material flow

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial preferred)

Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in PPC / production planning in automotive or manufacturing industry
- Experience in MNC setting (Continental, or similar Tier-1 suppliers preferred)
- Hands-on experience in MRP, production planning, and scheduling coordination
- Working knowledge of SAP (PP/MM modules) is mandatory
- Good understanding of production processe
