Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Copy Editor with robust expertise in language editing and book publishing workflows. The ideal candidate should have experience in editing academic or scholarly content, particularly within Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform language editing for books and long-form content

• Edit manuscripts based on Chicago Manual of Style guidelines

• Apply APA and AMA citation styles

• Ensure grammatical accuracy and readability

• Collaborate with authors and production teams

• Meet project deadlines with high-quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 – 6 years of experience in copyediting or language editing

• Strong knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style

• Familiarity with APA and AMA referencing styles

• Experience in academic/scholarly book editing

• Excellent English grammar and communication skills
