Job Title: Senior Jira Administrator (Remote)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Jira Administrator to manage, optimize, and scale our Jira environment across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Jira configuration, governance, automation, and stakeholder management
, along with experience handling enterprise-level Jira instances.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and configure
Jira (Cloud/Data Center)
across multiple projects and teams
- Design and manage
complex workflows, schemes, permissions, and field configurations
- Implement and maintain
Jira Automation rules
to streamline processes
- Manage
user access, roles, and security controls
in alignment with compliance requirements
- Ensure
data integrity, system performance, and platform scalability
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into Jira solutions
- Build and maintain
dashboards, reports, and metrics
for leadership visibility
- Oversee
Jira governance, standardization, and best practices adoption




- Manage integrations with tools such as CI/CD systems, reporting tools, and service management platforms
- Support and optimize
Jira Service Management (JSM)
for ITSM processes (incident, problem, change management)
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide L2/L3 support
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and system changes

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Jira Administration
- 10–12 years of overall IT experience
- Solid expertise in
workflows, schemes, permissions, and Jira configurations
- Experience with
Jira Automation and process optimization
- Good understanding of
Agile, Scrum, and/or ITSM processes
- Experience managing
enterprise-scale Jira environments
- Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with
Jira Service Management (JSM)
- Familiarity with
Confluence
and
Bitbucket
