Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB solutions.
- Configure and customize CMDB classes, relationships, CI lifecycle, and identification rules.
- Implement and support
ServiceNow Discovery
and
Service Mapping
.
- Configure and maintain
MID Servers
for Discovery.
- Implement
Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
and
CMDB Health Dashboard
.
- Ensure CMDB data quality through duplicate remediation, reconciliation, and governance.
- Implement and maintain
CSDM
best practices.
- Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer workflows.
- Create and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with third-party tools.
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security, and Application teams for CI onboarding.
- Perform CMDB audits, health checks, and continuous improvements.




- Support platform upgrades and troubleshoot CMDB-related issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Skills
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Solid hands-on experience with
CMDB
and
CSDM
.
- Experience with
ServiceNow Discovery
and
Service Mapping
.
- Experience configuring
MID Servers
.
- Strong knowledge of
Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
.
- Experience with
CMDB Health Dashboard
and Data Manager.
- Hands-on experience in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions.
- Experience with
Flow Designer
and
IntegrationHub
.
- Experience with REST and SOAP integrations.
- Good understanding of ITIL Configuration Management processes.
- Experience with ACLs, Update Sets, Scoped Applications, and Application Development.
