Role & responsibilities:-

To ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture across the organization, manage EHS-related systems and inventories, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve a safe and sustainable workplace.

Preferred candidate profile:-

1. EHS Operations & Compliance
- Execute day-to-day EHS activities across the plant/site.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
- Monitor implementation of safety procedures and corrective/preventive actions.

2. Permit to Work (PTW) Management
- Administer and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities.
- Verify safety requirements before issuance of permits.
- Ensure compliance with permit conditions and secure work practices.

3. Training & Awareness
- Conduct EHS induction programs for employees, contractors, visitors, and workmen.
- Organize periodic safety training sessions, toolbox talks,



and awareness campaigns.
- Promote employee participation in EHS initiatives and safety programs.

4. SAP Operations & Documentation
- Manage EHS-related transactions in SAP MM Module.
- Create and process purchase requisitions, material requests, and inventory-related transactions.
- Maintain EHS records, reports, and documentation as per company requirements.

5. Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels of safety equipment, PPE, firefighting equipment, and EHS consumables.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of EHS materials.
- Maintain inventory records and conduct periodic audits.

6. Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, vendors, and external agencies on EHS matters.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, HR, and project teams to implement safety requirements.
