Job Summary:
The candidate for this position will have experience in acquiring/handling Cochin based, mid-size & high-volume customers - consignees or shippers. He/she should have experience in leading a team of goal-oriented executives. The position will report to the Branch Manager in-charge of Swift Cargo Cochin operations.
Core Responsibilities:
The Deputy Branch Manager will be responsible for:
• Recruiting, onboarding, training, & mentoring new team members to ensure that they are equipped with the required product & process knowledge & sales skills to achieve business growth & revenue targets.
• Helping the team successfully get business from recent & existing customers.
• Helping the team build rapport & establish long term relationships with customers.
• Developing & implementing effective business development strategies to acquire new customers & expand the branch's market presence.
• Exploring business opportunities & generating sales leads from shippers, forwarders & CHAs effectively.
