Role Description

The Head of Mergers and Acquisitions will lead Esse India’s strategic growth initiatives, focusing on identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition and corporate development opportunities.
This full-time, on-site role, based in Abroad
, involves managing the end-to-end M&A; lifecycle, including market scanning, deal sourcing, financial analysis, and transaction execution. The role includes overseeing due diligence activities, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and developing financial models and business cases to support decision-making. The Head of M&A; will work closely with senior leadership to align transactions with long-term strategy, integrate acquired entities, and monitor post-merger performance. Day-to-day responsibilities also include preparing presentations and reports, managing advisors and consultants, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Acquisitions and Corporate Development skills,



including experience with end-to-end deal execution and strategic growth initiatives.
- Candidates should possess solid Due Diligence capabilities, with the ability to assess legal, financial, operational, and commercial risks in potential transactions.
- Candidates should possess robust Finance and Financial Modeling skills, including valuation, scenario analysis, and creation of detailed business cases.
- Relevant experience in consulting, skilled services, or financial services, ideally in a leadership role managing complex transactions.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results under tight timelines.
