Job Descriptions-
Key responsibilities/activities:
Sales Tax
- Analyze/reconcile sales data from various sources and uploading to Vertex Returns
- Preparing sales tax returns within Vertex Returns for all states.
- Filing Sales Tax & Use Tax returns and making payments
- Analyze/reconcile GL for sales tax collected versus paid.
- Resolve Govt. Notices by calling US Jurisdictions.
- Preparation of monthly journal entries.
- Balance sheet Reconciliation for Sales tax accounts.
- Identifying balancing items and its clearance.
- Internal and External Audit.
- SOX Compliance and adherence to internal control.
