We are seeking a
Jr. Functional Manual QA
with strong experience in
manual testing
and
State Integrated Eligibility System (IES) modernization projects
. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of functional testing and business analysis skills, with hands-on experience in Health & Human Services (HHS) programs. The candidate will be responsible for validating business processes, creating comprehensive test artifacts, executing functional and UAT testing, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and functional testing for State Integrated Eligibility System (IES) modernization projects.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and System Testing.
- Validate eligibility workflows and business processes across Health & Human Services programs.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners,



and stakeholders to ensure application quality.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure application stability.
- Maintain testing documentation and provide regular status updates.
- Support Agile development processes and participate in sprint ceremonies.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in
Manual and Functional Testing
.
- Hands-on experience supporting
State Integrated Eligibility System (IES) modernization projects
.
- Experience working on
State Health & Human Services (HHS)
initiatives involving:
- Medicaid
- SNAP
- TANF
- CHIP
- Child Care
- Other Integrated Eligibility Programs
- Robust experience creating and executing:
- Test Scenarios
- Test Cases
- Test Scripts
- Functional Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
