We are looking for a agile and experienced GM - Technical & Sourcing to lead our technical and procurement functions for Fans, Water Heaters & Home Appliances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product development, vendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring best-in-class quality while maintaining competitive market pricing.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Technical Leadership: Oversee product development, quality control, and technical improvements for Fans, Water Heaters, and Appliances
Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors for raw materials and components. Negotiate best prices and terms
Costing & Market Intelligence: Maintain deep knowledge of market price trends and actual component costs to drive cost optimization
Vendor Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Production, R&D;, Sales,
and Finance teams to align sourcing with business goals
Compliance: Ensure all products and components meet quality standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements
Team Management: Lead and mentor the technical and sourcing team to achieve targets
*Qualifications & Experience:*
Education:
B.Tech in Electrical / Production Engineering
Experience:
14 to 16 years of experience in Technical and Sourcing roles, preferably in
Fan, Water Heater & Home Appliances industry
Strong knowledge of product design, manufacturing processes, and BOM costingIn-depth understanding of market prices and actual component costsProven experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and supply chain optimization
Experience working with large manufacturing setups and handling government/retail channels will be an advantage
