Description
We are looking for a skilled and driven Project Controls Engineer to join our Environmental (ENS) Division. In this role, you will be at the heart of project delivery - planning, tracking, and controlling schedules, budgets, and progress to ensure our projects are delivered on time and within cost. You will work closely with project managers, functional leads, and engineering teams to provide timely data and insights that drive smart decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Understand the full EPC scope of work; identify deliverables, milestones, and critical tasks.
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for scheduling and progress measurement.
- Prepare and manage the master project schedule, integrating WBS using Primavera P6.
- Create and assign resources in Primavera P6; load man-hours into scheduled activities.
- Design schedule reports and select appropriate reporting formats for different stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
- Track and manage project budgets; ensure cost controls are in place and enforced.
- Manage the Change Management System to capture and assess scope changes.
- Utilize Ecosys or equivalent cost management tools for forecasting and cost tracking.
- Prepare regular progress reports with accurate forecasts and actionable recommendations.
- Liaise with team leads and project stakeholders to communicate completion targets and interface requirements.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and resource management.
- Advanced Excel skills include Power Pivot Tables and data analysis; working knowledge of MS Project and Power BI.
- Familiarity with Ecosys or similar cost management platforms.
