Key Responsibilities Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform and supervise mechanical and high-voltage testing of vacuum interrupters
- Ensure final quality release and packing approvals
- Handle non-conforming parts with root cause analysis (RCA)
- Maintain and update testing database and records
- Coordinate with quality teams to resolve issues and improve output

Production & Operations Management
- Plan test sequences and manpower allocation
- Ensure line balancing and minimize WIP/inventory between stations
- Monitor dispatch priorities and production targets
- Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements
- Oversee consumables usage and forecasting

Process & Continuous Improvement
- Drive 5S implementation and workplace organization
- Participate in quality circles and improvement initiatives
- Support jig and fixture procurement
- Track and reduce production losses and wastage

Safety, Compliance & Maintenance
- Ensure adherence to EHS, legal, and environmental standards




- Promote a secure working culture across all shopfloor areas
- Coordinate preventive maintenance & calibration activities
- Participate in audits and ensure timely closure of observations

Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead daily production meetings and coordinate with planning teams
- Train team members on testing, safety, and material handling
- Interact with customers and cross-functional teams
- Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports for management review

Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage testing and electrical systems
- Experience in vacuum interrupter testing (preferred)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
- Exposure to SAP / MTool / production tracking systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and team management abilities
