- Ensuring proper and accurate accounting of transactions and review of PL and BS.
- Preparation of monthly MIS, quarterly financials and board presentation.
- Ensure timely submission of all details for annual statutory and internal audit.
2. 1. Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast
- Preparation of annual budget and monthly updating the estimated performance.
- Tracking of manufacturing and direct cost as per budget and highlighting the variance with justification.
- Highlighting the challenges/exceptions in DRM.
2. 1. Tax Compliances
- Reviewing the monthly TDS and GST workings and providing approvals.
- Tracking the pending bill booking to ensure full ITC utilisation.
- Preparing workings for Tax/TP Audit.
- Calculate the FG price on quarterly basis and get approval from business team on the transfer price.
- Run the standard and actual costing monthly. Resolving the errors (if any) in consultation with RD and IT team. Identify the reason for price movement.
- Develop and update the margin reports in SAP.

Compliances of Commercial Policies (PGPML)
- Support credit and commercial policy implementation by aligning business processes with system changes, monitoring receivables, ensuring timely collections, resolving billing issues.
2. 1. Inventory valuation and provision
- Tracking the inventory position for RM/FG. Rectification of inventory rates at month end (if any).
- Monitoring the slow/non-moving inventory and highlighting to stakeholders.
- Maintain the inventory provision tracker.
- Visit plants on monthly/quarterly basis.
- Understand and review the deviation from PIL way of working.
- Interacting with all plant stakeholders to evaluate the process efficiency.
2. 1. Treasury Insurance
- Ensure timely updation of bank signatories.
- Submit monthly stock statements to banks.
- Frequently reviewing all the insurance covers with PIL insurance team to mitigate the risk.
- Timely opening of Dividend accounts (if required).
