Job description:
GOEX is seeking a hands-on Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to serve as the technical leader of our maintenance team. This is a working engineering role—not a desk job. You'll spend the majority of your time on the production floor troubleshooting equipment, solving complex mechanical and electrical problems, and working alongside maintenance technicians to keep our operation running safely and efficiently.

In this role, you'll provide day-to-day direction to the maintenance team by assigning priorities, providing technical guidance, and following up to ensure work is completed correctly. At the same time, you'll roll up your sleeves and actively participate in repairs, equipment improvements, and engineering projects that improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement.

What You'll Do





Serve as the primary engineering resource for the facility, providing technical expertise for mechanical and electrical systems.

Provide day-to-day leadership and technical direction to the maintenance team by assigning work, setting priorities, and ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and correctly.

Work alongside maintenance technicians to troubleshoot equipment, perform repairs, and solve complex mechanical and electrical issues.

Diagnose and resolve equipment failures involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing systems.

Troubleshoot and support PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, motors, sensors, and other industrial control systems.

Lead root cause investigations and implement long-term corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Help plan and manage equipment upgrades, machine modifications, facility improvements, and capital projects.
