Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Import-Export Executive to join our Mumbai team. In this role, you will manage the full operational cycle of shipments, handle comprehensive documentation, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agents, and vendors to ensure seamless customs clearance and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Documentation & Filing: Prepare and file bills of entry, shipping bills, and import/export checklists across various Incoterms and schemes. Execute timely e-Sanchit uploads.
- Operational Management: Oversee the complete end-to-end operational cycle of import and export shipments.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate closely with clients, customs brokers, agents, and transport vendors to secure delivery orders and ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Financial Administration: Review and arrange timely payments to airlines, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other third-party vendors.
- Pricing & Costing: Provide accurate and competitive quotes for customs clearance and transportation to clients.
- Client Support: Act as the primary liaison for importers and exporters, resolving queries promptly regarding HSN classification, documentation, and duty benefit calculations.
- Tracking & Reporting: Monitor shipment statuses from origin to destination and maintain daily status reports (DSR).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–4 years of proven experience within the shipping industry or with customs brokers.
- Education: Minimum bachelor's degree / graduate in any stream.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in HSN classification, customs queries, duty benefit calculations, and DSR reporting.
- Communication: Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
