JOB PURPOSE: (prime focus and objective of the position) You will be responsible for preparing and managing all aspects of the Accounting and Financial Reporting functions of the Infrastructure Group s corporate entities. This is a highly visible role that interacts with many other departments, including private funds, treasury, tax, and finance teams in other parts of the world. The role will require working flexible hours to overlap with Eastern time for 2-3 hours.
- Maintain accurate books and records and financial statements across a portfolio of legal entities to facilitate financial, tax, audit and compliance reporting requirements
- Establish strong relationships with global teams to obtain and ensure proper understanding, documentation and receipt of all reporting deliverables
- Perform initial review of journal entries and reporting materials prepared by junior team members
- Ensure reporting is prepared accurately under IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards and on a timely basis
- Prepare quarterly internal reporting materials relating to asset management operations




- Manage regulatory reporting process for off-shore entities and local audit requirements
- Oversee preparation of board meeting reports and present materials on a quarterly basis
- Preparation of ad-hoc reporting for senior management
- Identify and implement process improvements and/or system changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Maintain organized and well-documented policies and procedure documents

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Chartered accountant with five - eight years of experience working in a corporate accounting or audit firm, preferably in financial services or asset management
- The ability to work in a agile, complex, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Very strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability
