Role Description
- Lead a Tier 1 city-level public transportation planning project
- Conduct analysis of transportation data, including traffic patterns and transit system efficiency.
- Handle client meetings & stakeholder management including technical, funding & civil society stakeholders
- Participate in site visits and data collection to understand real-world transportation challenges.
- Contribute to the design of transportation systems that improve urban mobility, reduce congestion, and enhance public transport accessibility.
- Support the development of traffic models and simulations to inform infrastructure planning and optimization.
- Conduct research and contribute to reports on best practices in road design and public transport strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate transportation engineering principles with technological solutions like Big Data and AI.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of work experience
- Must possess a masters degree in Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands on understanding of transportation planning & GIS software.
- Hands-on experience with Data Analytics using Python/SQL is a plus.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret and work with large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- A passion for improving urban mobility and contributing to sustainable transportation solutions.
