Role & responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead sourcing of Raw Materials, Chemicals, Engineering Spares, MRO, Capex, Services, and Logistics.
- Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and procurement savings initiatives.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contracts, and long-term supplier agreements.

Supplier & Supply Chain Management
- Build strategic supplier relationships and drive vendor development initiatives.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability across manufacturing units.
- Drive supplier performance, risk mitigation, and alternate sourcing programs.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Projects, Finance, and Stores teams.

Governance & Performance
- Strengthen procurement policies, controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor procurement KPIs, savings, supplier performance, and inventory metrics.
- Drive procurement digitization, process improvement, and ERP/SAP adoption.




- Present periodic procurement reviews and strategic recommendations to management.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven experience in leading procurement for large process manufacturing organizations with a solid track record in strategic sourcing, cost optimization, supplier management, and procurement transformation. Exposure to multi-unit operations and Capex / Opex procurement will be preferred.
