This position is for a Hardware Test Engineer with a minimum of 3-10 years of experience. The position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed/excel. As a Senior Engineer the candidate is expected to take a leading role in the planning and execution of validation testing for professional audio equipment. This individual should have a strong, positive attitude and the ability to easily multitask and provide advice/support to other engineers as well as technical support personnel. They should possess strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and execute test plans for professional audio equipment.
- Develop test procedures and best practices
- Operate high-end laboratory equipment, such as AC line power supplies, Digital Oscilloscopes, and Audio Precision Analyzers, Network Analyzers
- Find and report bugs/issues with hardware and/or embedded firmware
- Work with a team of engineers to bring products to the qualified audio industry.
- Support others within the company as needed.
- Maintain and support existing products.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or computer science
- Minimum of 3-10 years of experience
- High level of Electrical Engineering test skills including usage of various forms of test/measurement equipment.
- Must be able to work closely with design engineers to execute lab tests
- Willing to solder, rework, and modify hardware as needed to solve bugs/issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
- A positive attitude is a must.
- A strong desire to exceed/excel in an environment with high-quality engineers is a must.
